I'm not a huge fan of abusing re-runs in walks.. Fuck, anyone can do 3000 LK runs to find the gear to move on. It's not exciting at all though.

I never re-run anything on my walks and I've cleared p8 on more than one occassion

First of all, in some cases you might have to do those 3000 LK runs to be able to complete the game. You also have to get there.

Second of all, it is exciting. It's one of the reasons people read/watch these WT's.

Thirdly, yes, any kid can do it with a Summoner, Hammerdin or Trapsin. That's not the point. Completing the game isn't all there is to it.
