Baal has the potential to hit HARD, and remember, I still have no BO. Have juvies on hand. I actually ran out and went back to town to cube some up w/ gems, and still ran out.

Checking the screenshots - it appears that after I leveled sufficiently I was using gris armor for the MF runs, hitting 75 BP instead of 125. I went back and forth on that. Speed > MF, but speed AND MF is greatest. Especially if you are not a bot, and you like to actually see the rares that drop.

So FINALLY I could twink my 'din, and do the dclone quest.

My barb gave him an ist and a pComb.

I felt more dirty than I thought I would, but I kept them. I did however resolve to not twink any more, especially if it the items were sure to figure prominently as uber end-game gear. The CTA won't even figure there because I am planning on bringing the barb into the game for the pre-buff, just as I would on the realms in the beginning of ladder. Someone said this is like start of ladder. This is exactly like that. Only easier because it is /p8 all the time. Instead of monsters dropping an item < 1/5 of the time, they drop something more like > 4/5 of the time. (someone check my #s, I couldn't find the exact %)

Furthermore, I also didn't want to get the anni in such an undignified way, so I spawned dclone before rolling cta. I did not do it on /p8. It was /p2 I think, but it could have just as easily been /p1.





My Dclone gear -
* I had shopped a life tap wand.
* I used smite and that rose branded sacred targe pictured long ago.
* I made Strength in an Ataghan that dropped near shenk (anyone else vouch that a LOT of elite socketed swords drop there?)
* Gores

I could not kill him with this setup because I have no cannot be frozen (wisp but no raven!), and also I spent points into holy bolt instead of just holy shield.

So, after getting him down to a little under 1/4 life I finished him off with hammers.

this run is in no way near cheating to me with the amount of time hes been doing this walkthrough and how much he mfs.

his char could easily be better, i dont think his drops are all that lucky for how long hes been playing this char either. ive made way better chars in way less time.

only thing that bothers me here is 2011 rand... with low posts...

Yep. I've only wasted the last one year of my life by resurrecting the addiction I was able to break after college some 10 years ago. Prior to JSP I was some 2011 rand on that other popular site where they pride themselves on no bots / no shops, because that's the way I like to roll too. JSP is just more active, and despite the rhetoric to the contrary, people here can be nice too.

armor situation for uber trist. Duress maybe, but no Ums yet. I've been collecting elite armors, especially low quality to cube (Set ilvl to 1 then get 50/50 shot at 3 socks, or if def is >500, then socket q)
