ah i saw that video and as far as i have seen it nova had the best clear speed but slowest boss, hydra the fastest boss but slowest clear speed and blizzard is a mix in between

yeah i guess it could depend on where you farm for budget too, but i find blizz the best because it makes non immunes have like 0 resists with cold mastery so it hits super hard with really budget gear. i have three fully decked out sorcs on non ladder and i also like blizz the most with gg gear though the hydra fireball variant is fun as well.

though the cool thing with gg fireball hydra is the phoenix shield has the redemption aura its so nice constantly heals u

oh cool, so u have all 3 endgame versions of the builds?
which ones the best in 8 player mod btw?

in my opinion it would def be nove because nova has the least amount of synergies if you go energy shield, for fireball hydra and blizz sorc you lose damage if you want to go energy shield but are way tankier, nova you dont lose damage because nova doesnt have many synergies

i can max es with nova, thats an advantage defensively, on the other 2 i wouldnt max es, just telekenesis. this way i can still max hydra synergies.
with blizzard id put only 1 point in cold mastery and use doom rw as a weapon to get over -150 enemy res. this way i can also max all blizzard synergies.
and since cold mastery has 1/5 effectiveness against immune enemies it should be fine i guess.

nova has 95% es, the other two have like 80% es shield, but nova has to facetank.
blizzard + glacial spike freeze enemies and hydra shoots from far away.

true yeah i guess it would be up to personal taste lol, nova is probably the most tanky though and also the easiest to use coz u dont even have to aim anything really, plus you could even use your own infinity and then merc could have insight so your mana regen would be like insane lol ontop of higher es

im playing hc if that makes a difference.

I love the fire sorc. I got #2 overall on psn ladder with it last ladder and current ladder. A pure vit fire sorc with no es can max meteor/fb's/mastery/ and hydras. Personally, I try to keep the tzs to myself in p8 games when pushing on ladder, so if somebody joins the tz i hostile and keep my hydras around me which takes care of any1 who dares to stay in tz 9/10 times. Hydra also helps melt any boss that much faster along with fire immune elite packs.

On the other hand, I have a blizz sorc that I made last ladder and they're over powered as well. Never hit 99 on her but she was a lot of fun as well. To my understanding, blizz sorcs got nerfed with the mastery/sunder combo so not to sure how well they are currently in pvm.
