My main character on d2r is a 88 martial arts assassin. she has max phoenix strike, thunder claws and blades of ice, level 18 dragon tail, death sentry and 1 point in every shadow skill.

She's pretty decked out with solid end game gear but not quite 100% top of the line.

I would go dragon tail over talon. My dragon tail hits for over 13,000 damage with no phoenix / thunder charges. It has a nice AoE splash too.

dragon talon benefits from stuff like crushing blow. phoenix strike benefits from + skills. so dragon talon doesn't fit the elemental skills well, because you'll want to wear a shako over g face, etc. dragon tail is built more around + skills than talon.

The nice thing about this build is there are no immunities in the game that can give her issues.

If you have any questions let me know. I can make videos of her running specific areas in hell or showing how the build works in general. She solos any level in the game fine.

About 2,700 hp, 6,000 def, 14k dragon tail damage with no charge, over 50k with full charges. Phoenix strike does 2,000 meteor damage, 11,000 lightning damage, and 2,500 damage per ice bolt. Max resistances and lightning immune.

how many skiller? since this is pvm it would be kind hard to run fully inventory and pick up gear becuase they still refuse to give us a charm inventory

whats your skill setup? like what charges do u use? do u use talon or tail more? a video of normal killing would be great

infact just make an entire guide like i did for my werewolf druid

She doesn't use talon. she uses dragon tail by itself on weaker enemies, and phoenix strike & thunder claw charge build ups on tougher foes.

So you don't use cannot be frozen mod? I need it for my every melee character.

My Phoenixer will use Warshrike as her weapon to take care of mana burn ❤️‍🔥

Yes, I should be able to use throw weapon to charge with the middle row of MA tab. So I cannot use CoT as a charging skill but make use of its synergy to Phoenix Strike.

I've already got this pair of gloves for her:

5%FrostNova/+2MA/20ias/3ML/cr20

But no eth Warshrike yet :cry:

the rare ring halves frozen time so that's good enough.

it's interesting how any weapon can work with phoenix strike. i've been trying to think of something I should try out instead of claws.

What if the last waves had mana burn?

I've never used Tail b4 but noticed it needed 10 mana to attack. This is huge amount when it compares to Zeal or Smite, which only requires 2 mana.

This should cause troubles vs mana burn at times.

merc has insight, mana burn has never been a problem for me at all.

OK. That's a way to solve the issue :)

I'll be using either Reaper's Toll or Infinity on merc.

The former is the best for safety, as mobs are slowed a lot. Besides, your physical dmg is amplified as well. If I took this route, I would have to use Blessed Aim Aura as my Asa's AR will be very low. I'll use spirit as her shield for +2 skills.

The latter is good for amplifying elemental dmg. And I can choose Might Aura, thanks to Conviction Aura which lowers mobs' defense a lot. I'll use SS as her shield for DR.

I'll test both once I got an eth Warshrike :wacko:
