yeah i went thru the same thing with the fury druid. i was gettin hit real hard not having any dr. would you say a stormshield would be my best bet for a shield if i decide to go a diffrent route from the ribcracker

You don't need a jmod in a kick assa. It's easy to get good attack speed. Stormshield is a very good option, spirit is another.
Hybrid traps / kicks is the usuall way to go, as kick only need 20 points to max up, and you don't even need max lvl for kicks to be usefull. I think 1 point death sentry, at least, it's a must. I would max it, without a doubt.
You can use a lot of different weapons, with different chance to cast spells. Stormslash is one of the most used.

I prefer playing like a spider sin but if your opposed to traps then just 1 point into DS

Imo this is the most fun Char to play solo. Can use DF to move around and jump shit in foothills / chaos etc. Generally use BoS > fade but again I play more of a spider, lay traps (x4 LS 1 DS, then engage with kicks (orbs and twisters everywhere) and DS to nuke packs.

Gives you multiple options of damage , light cold fire and physical. Pretty rare to run into something you can't kill. I found atmas was better in a lot of situations vs highlords with the amp damage

I have one in West and making another in East, ladder.

Not pure Kicksins, but DS\LS\Blade Fury\Talon.

In West, I only did mini Ubers with her.

Helm: Dream (nn GFace at all, any helm works)
Weapon: Stormlash for talon\eth Infinity for BF\Trap
Shield: Gereke's Sanctuary (I prefer this over SS)
Armor: Treachery
The others are common.

Mini Ubers are ez with her.

Now in East, I'm still arranging gears cuz I wanna do Ubers.

Done mini Ubers with:
Kingslayer, one of the best weapon vs bosses\mini Ubers: CB\OW\-def\AR.
Swap is eth Ettin Axe CTA, which is for BF\Trap and well, BO ofc.
(Rift + NightWings sometimes for fun as well)

Now I wanna try all Ubers. Maybe I go with Last Wish, in this case, I think I'll end up with using Tal mask

Azurewrath is a good weapon for Talon, which you just shael it and get the fastest kicking speed according to IAS calculators but one source says you actually need more 4 IAS. So always I try to achieve 54 IAS with PB.

My Shape shifter in West is Wolf: Rabies\Fury\Feral Rage.

Weapon is Tomb Reaver(shael\shael\eth).

You don't want blocking in the first place as a shifter, so you should get DR from other gears if you want some.

Atma's is a kewl idea! But amp only applies to the base dmg on your boots, so I prefer Decrep from Reapers toll, which slows mobs significantly. But then your life tap is nearly useless, so use other gloves than Drac.

As for LoH, % DMG to demons\undead doesn't work with Talon unfortunately, so LoH only offers 20 IAS and FR. Then Lava Gout is better as this pair offer 20 IAS, FR and enchant.

As I wrote somewhere, I always get 54 or more IAS with Phase Blade for the fastest kick. (This is different from Shapeshifter, which off weapon IAS has little effect to the attack speed)

(Rift is slow but fun!)

Highlord's, Cat's Eye, Andy, 3Os\2Os Helm with IAS jewels, Gloves, Nosferatu's or even Goldwrap have IAS. Oh, and don't forget my favorite armor, Treachery ofc.

BTW, Giant skull seems a sweet option but actually not. The knock back works differently with kb from Talon. You can try yourself

Overall, I can't agree more! This IS the most fun build to me as well!

I think this might not be correct now. Might aura only applies to the base DMG, but how about amp? Hope I'm wrong, then Atma's is an good option!
