you can make most char viable, but there is no sense if you look at optimization.
a light javazon that use javelin instead of amazon javelin works too, but there is no sense to do it

Hybrids are good too if you know how to build them.

there is no rocket science behind a hyb sorc.
since almost 20 years ago I made thousand $ with classic rush using a firewall orb sorc, than moved to all version of forb or meteorb on lod.
Kinda know what I talk about

There’s too many variables to say one build is better. There are unbreakable lightning immunes too. You don’t even need half the power the sorc has to be effective at this game because PvM is stupid easy.

LI are statistically the most breakable with infy, and I think you can live with your merc killing in 1 hit the 4-5 remaining each hour of play.
If you want a character that can kill with a reasonable speed all unbreakable immunes in game, go with a rift kicksin, but it's not really needed tbh.

You’re right lite sorc is one of the best, but most of time, her power isn’t even needed. For example ancient tunnels with blizz spec zero gear.
