Hmm, so before or when you got to Countess in Normal and hunted the runes, you were able to find a 3 socket Stag bow? Act 1 right? What areas did you run to find this Bow with 3 sockets? ... damn, I am not doubting you, but in all my experience, I haven't been lucky to find this in Act 1.. I have however found it in like Act 2 and above.

Wait for a blade bow I'd say. Though it will be massive upgrade either way so if you are bored of search for base just make it asap.
