I was under the impression that you choose to make your Iron Golem with a low damage base item because if they got cursed from Caster Knights with Life Tap, they die in one hit, yet I stated to REMOVE Life Tap curse, you tele on the Cast Knight (which does NOT melee attack) to FORCE them to cast Decrepify, which removes the Life Tap curse. (sorry, I mentioned Amp earlier).

Sorry for the misunderstanding of the curse you were referring to previously... but to remove the "Life Tap" curse, all you have to do is tele on top of the Caster Knight to remove the Life Tap with Decrepify... you don't have to attack it, just tele into close range.

My reference to Iron Maiden curse is worse than the Bug you are currently experiencing, because Iron Maiden affected ALL melee attacks including Act 2 mercs when they make an attack.

Yes, you can also go to a town healer and get it removed. But as i said he can die in ONE hit. One second you have your fancy lvl 20 pride golem, the next second you don't have it. You don't have time to react.

Golem makes no damage, so it doesn't matter if you make it from a low damage weapon.

If, and only If I created a Necro, and if, yup, IF I made an Iron Golem, I would choose some aura that benefits my nec, summons and merc.

So... might / pride merc and beast Iron golem? ... think beast has fana aura. Note: only good for melee skeletons and not casters, so you would cast Amp to reduce the pdr of monsters and then CE once you have enough corpses to kill mobs/boss and still summon more skeletons to replenish quantity.

Yup... I am a noob to necro, and when I tried and tested them, I hated them because too slow in kill speed and on top of that, LAG... OMFG LAG... LAG AND MORE LAG... and so it went on.

Killed a level 96 PvP bone spear nec with my Berserk barb doing chaos runs for leechers just by howling monsters while popping all the seals, the idiot tele'd into a swarm of aggressive howled mobs to get to my Demonbasher barb and died... could not believe the amount of gold I got from his corpse... the full juvs I left there for the people that tp'd to town and not exit game...
