if you find CS too hard then light sorc is not the right thing for you. It's all about positioning. Learn to tele at the correct distance. No Monster should ever hit you.
And make a cmoon. -35 light res are OP.
CS is top area in terms of density, xp, rune drops and is one of the easiest area 85 lvl for a fragile caster
