You can't/don't want to play a different game? I don't know... if you're burnt out, changing characters is not going to help you, at least not in the long term, you'll get burnt out again once the grind gets tedious, in other words - in under a week.
Play Avadon The Black Fortress (it's a nice change of pace from D2) for 100+ hours and after that you'll want to get back to Diablo with any character.
