Wasn't as strict as you though. Did't make it a rule to clear everything (even though I almost did) and allowed S&E (used only 3 times or so though).

what about when you need to save and exit. Everything respawns again. You basically not running back past a certain waypoint?

Inner cloister WP, Arcanes sanctuary WP, RoF WP, Bloody foothills WP, etc etc.

I tend to full clear acts in normal and nightmare but like Melatonina said, there are places to "checkpoint". Sometimes this means running into a map I don't intend to start to snag the wp (black marsh, is a common one in hell). The point of full clear is to not farm exp/drops on a map that's been started/completed.

Nightmare started off easy enough. My spear was crushing the early maps even thought it was only slvl ~12, I've been leveling it equally (after +skills) with bone prison (which is now maxed, bone spear is still slvl 12). Decrepify and golem keep me safe from almost all threats. There weren't too many scares other than a pretty weak extra fast ghost pack that made me run for a brief moment. Bone prison finally does work... boy does the normal scaling on wall/prison suck.

I found an early +2 bonespear head so I attempted a 2os roll with a p.ruby and my only precious amn. It was worth (I dropped multiple amns today). I threw a shael and eth in there for a nice "rhyme". This should hold me over for a while, I might even hel the base for a "splendor" later on if I don't need the resistances and don't find a better base.

Countess laughed in my face. She's pretty stingy. My second imbue wasn't great, EZ 29k gold. I realized my error in my first imbue roll with an alvl of 40 and went for a 50 alvl this time to have a shot at +2 necro skills, and also to increase my odds of that roll.

I mentioned at the start of my stream that I generally find an Io rune somewhere in act 1 nm. The game made me an honest man today. But really you should watch the highlight. Its less than 3 mins of me predicting the future.. this is like the third or fourth time I've called something into existence (last run it was a Ko rune). Fortunately it wasn't chat calling some crazy awful pack group into existence (because that happens too).

Andy melted and nearly dropped me my SoJ - I want it back

I felt like streaming a little bit longer so I proceeded to kill Radament. I found a second Sol rune and am ready to make an "insight" as soon as I can find a suitable base... speaking of which, I dropped multiple partizans today.. a 3os, and 2x eth. One was 1os, the other was 2os

I did not have a lot of time to stream yesterday. I cleared from rocky waste to claw viper temple. RIP Fangskin

It wasn't too interesting of a day. A bunch of trash uniques did drop.

I did get a nice lightning GC upgprade

And a second Io rune

I still don't have a base for an "insight". I'm hoping that tombs solve that problem for me today.

Sometimes the game is a tease. I kept filling up on gold, so I've been gambling circlets. However I went to go gamble elzix and accidentally clicked trade. I bought these to retire into my shared stash anyways, but where were they last run with my hours of shopping for them.

Otherwise, today went great. I really couldn't be happier with the drops. An early Lem in AS. Don't judge me for dropping this in a 3os sup bp. I don't care about the defense and the merc needed dmg asap - I am still lacking a partizan base. I tried punching holes in one today with an amn+ral+p.ammy. It rolled 2os. This feels really bad because ral and ammy's are both used for crafter amulets. I'm going to have to keep waiting for a 4os exceptional polearm. I'm really happy with an early Lum rune too! This guarantees decent rez if going for "smoke" in hell. A second Lum (or 2x more Io) allows for a "splendor" in my +2 BS trophy.

5 of my 7 tombs had unravelers - my chat guessed correctly today, but fortunately they weren't in Duriel's tomb. I managed to save some gorebelly's for duriel but forgot to screenshot his drops (butcher's pupil, bverrit keep, and poorly rolled rare greaves)

It seems diablo.run is working again so here's my gear. Most of it is laughable, but I'll be crafting and gambling a ton before hell.

The day started with me burning my only Sol rune into an early 4os war scythe drop - I wasn't overly excited about this but it did alleviate some mana issues. I dropped a surprising amount of runes today. 2x Io, Hel, Dol, 4x Amn, many thuls and orts, even a Ko, Shael, Sol. Its not as great as yesterday's Lem and Lum but its more than enough. I can at the very least cube into a second Lum for "splendor".

Not long after dropping the war scythe (maybe 1 hour later) I dropped a 4os non-eth partizon (superior - durability ). I finally found another Sol in durance. The ED% roll was much better this time, but the medi and cs were a loss I also put 2 fervor jewels into a rare great helm for the merc. I think for most of these single pass runs "Obedience" Thresher + "Treachery" is the best I can hope for. I'll gladly settle for an "Insight" Thresher though.

I saved 5 maulers near my floor 2 WP (2 shattered) - but I could only revive 3 anyways. They make the boss fights ridiculously easy and are quite fun!

Gear and Stats:

In addition to this, I found a 21 life 20 LRes GC, a 8% LRes SC and a 7% FRes SC today but they have no need yet, They make their way into my inventory for hell depending on gear swaps/crafts. Its nice to have the flexibility/option.

I did a longer stream today and managed to clear a4 to a5.

Early Io rune (my 5th one) is never unwelcome. I have been dropping a lot of uniques lately too. 8 yesterday, 7 today (one was a wizendraw!! aha ._.)

My helforge stunk. I was really hoping for that Um. Looks like I'll be stuck with smoke this run.

Speaking of Um.. there goes all my luck in finding 2 Ums into this Mal lmfao... I'm also doing werebear next run so this make me even sadder. I've only seen 2 Mals (including this one) in the past 8 runs (including this one).

This is my first NM Mal though. Diablo was easy. I was surprised how decent the Doom Knights were as revives. I used them quite a lot in Act 5 too!

Chat had me gamble a lot today. This isn't that awful of an ammy, but I'm truly hoping to craft something better even if it means giving up some +skill.

This was by far and away my easiest ancients fight. But that's not really surprising considering how easy the boss fights are. Decrep+Golem are OP, bone prison for good measure here.

Baal wave 1 (I believe) dropped a decent circlet. I plan on using this over Lore, but I'm not sure I want to socket it yet, Although I'm not sure I'll be finding another Harlequin's aha.

Baal fight was harder than I anticipated (still easy). He kept cloning and getting close enough to mana burn. No interesting drops here.

I still have NM cows to do. This will get done tomorrow. As it is right now I have a bit over 2 pages worth of staff mods I plan on selling as I gamble and craft. Getting hell ready is actually pretty fun. I've been looking forward to tomorrow's stream all week. *fingers crossed* for some juicy rolls. I'll be replacing almost all my gear. "Smoke" will be last. I probably won't be replacing my 10 FCR dual res ring, but am hoping to improve on gloves, ring, ammy and belt. After that maybe boots and helm. I'd really like to hel my trophy for a "Splendor" but I have to see where resists are first. I do have several fire and lightning res GC and SC stashed that are not depicted here with my Hell res (same gear I finished NM with):
