Upped Goblin Toe is just as good if not better than gores (assuming you are running BoS). You trade open wounds for an extra 10% CB (DS does not work with kicks)

Just throwing it out there since goblins are pretty common, and gores can be a pain in the ass to drop.

Just did uber tristam with a kicker/trapper yesterday so I fill like I could throw my 2 cents on the subject.
If someone wants to known how bad can your gear be and have a pretty functionnal kicker/hybrid then I think I can help.

Main Damage Skills: 20 DT, 20 death sentry, 20 lightning sentry. I keep it simple I only lay down Death Sentry. I kick one guy to start the Death sentry chain.
Utility: like 10 in shadow warrior and same in fade.
1 skill wonder: burst of speed, cloak of shadows and mind blast.
Bunch of dexterity for max block with rhyme and it doubles up by helping the attack rating. I aimed for 55 strength. Rest vitality.

Ran Nilhatak with her: You Cloak/mind blast/shadow warrior in the middle of the room and lay down death sentries. Kick one guy down and move out of the way. If that does not finish him you kick him when room is cleared.
Normal gameplay: Cloak and minblast are gold. Think ninja! You isolate one by disabling the AI on a pack and kick him down and then Death Sentry makes a mess out of the pack. Teleport is there if you mess up.

My gear is super low grade (player one stuff not 8 players!):

Basicly a bunch of resist gear and life charms but I did have a Sin Torch
Weapon : strength scimitar / lawbringer broad sword (did not have a phase blade) for ubers/organs(boss)
switch: teleport staff
Armor: Duress mageplate (best bang for buck for melee)
Belt: more open wounds craft
Boots: 40 frw wyrmhide / resist wyrmhide for u-meph
Shield: Rhyme / 3 perfect topaz for u-meph
Glove: some 20 ias

The organs run was really eazy. Long but eazy. Lawbringer was impressive.
The fight in tristam was a long fight I'm not gonna lie. I needed to run around until I got the targetted boss isolated as best as I could. I did not yolo face tank.
The aura on lawbringer comboed with cloak of shadow were clutch. This is was made this run work.
