So if I am understanding this correctly, conviction just gets rid of some of the immunes but it doesn’t lower the resistance of the monsters? Sorry if wrong spot to ask just trying to understand.
Cause I thought the -150 resist from lvl 25 convic would make it so all their resistances were pretty low. Making them melt pretty quick.
If resistance is < 100%, then level 25 conviction inflicts -150% (with a lower cap at -100% for the final result).
But against immuned, level 25 conviction only inflict -30% (effect diveded by 5).
Many light immuned monsters have 100% light resistance exactly, so they would still have 70% after conviction.
If resistance drops below 100%, then -%ELR (from crescent moon for example) works with full effect :
100% res (light immuned) -> 70% (after conviction) -> 35% (with Crescent moon).
115% res -> 85% -> 50%
130% res -> 100% (still immuned) -> 100% (-%ELR doesn't work)
