-res is more useful for boosting damage after Infinity breaks immunities. DClone is not immune (95), he'll still have +10 light resist after lvl12 Conviction (Infinity) so -res bringing him down in to negative would help, but prolly not essential. Got a Griffon's Eye? :D Tstrokes would be good too of course.

Oh and yeah, -res from stuff like Griffon's/Facets/Cold Mastery doesn't apply if the monster is immune to that element.
