Decided to go back to do a few countess runs to cube up an ort to make a little bow upgrade. (Had already found a 2os stag bow).

I rolled I think 10 maps before I even SAW the tower. And that's with running around like 1/2 of the map's worth from the waypoint in a circle. Like it was so far away every time that I just s/e and rerolled before I got to it over and over. Never had that happen that many times before.



But either way, got a couple more rals and made this. It's a very temporary upgrade. Will definitely need to find/make a better bow soon (even just finding a bow w/ more sockets would be good). My switch right now is a 3os battle bow with tal/tal/tal that I use to multi group so they are all slowly ticking down while I and merc kill the individuals.

Izzy took forever to kill, but he didn't even kill my decoy once. Just sat there hitting at her while me and merc slowly chipped him down.

How do you reroll normal maps without entering NM?
Maybe a plugy mod??

Hm I guess technically you're correct in that the most vanilla way to play would be to never reroll your map intentionally.

But this is also something anyone could do with the game fresh out of box (which is essentially what this install is).

And I would consider this relatively standard practice for most WTs here, thought depending on build many people can just breeze through norm and it doesn't matter as much.


FWIW I'm not philosophically opposed to plugy, I have a separate install on a different partition with plugy for playing non-hardcore and twinking items between chars, but for SP HC WTs I personally prefer small stash etc.

Wasn't meaning it in a horrible way, play as you wish, its your walk thru. As long as ur having fun why does it matter what anyone else thinks, lol.

Just a couple quick updates, more coming soon.

So after forge I attempted diablo x1, was significantly too hard. So I did a handful of Mephisto runs and chaos runs to level up to ~33, and then used my first anya respec to switch to GA and valk.

Mostly skilling into valk and decoy still with a few into guided arrow and enough crit to get about 50% for now.

Went back and was able to handle diablo. Was still a really long fight but kept merc alive through most of it by respawning valk. She could actually tank 1 full lightning breath, but then she would die to the next hit.

Nothing useful from the quest drop



Killing shank and eldritch wasn't too hard, and Meph runs have gotten faster with valk and merc, so I decided to do some runs of the three of those for Exp and to try to get some upgrades before progressing in A5.



Found this and put it on just to try it out, it actually significantly increased my killing speed and I'm still pretty safe so gonna wear it for now, haha

And after just a handful of runs...




Got what I needed to push through act 5 - big bow upgrade. Run and attack speed a little slower now but overall DPS much better.




And then just a few feet later past eldritch, highest rune so far. Drops are starting to help me out a little
