This is the most human post I've ever seen here. Thanks man! Good to meet you, and welcome!
My name is Taylor and I'm also in my late 20's (28). I'm single and living in Salt Lake City, Utah (no, I'm not Mormon--anymore at least lol). I'll be graduating in a few days from the University of Utah with my Masters of Social Work and will be working as a mental health therapist (very familiar with OCD from a professional and personal perspective, so I feel ya!). I'm also a big sports fan (more of a player than a watcher); I grew up playing soccer mostly, but I've dabbled in almost everything and current favorites are tennis and spikeball. I won't be able to keep up talking sports tho haha. I was playing some WTs for a bit (did a kicksin, blizz sorc, and poison nec), but I got bored and gave up. Been thinking about coming back and I could definitely get into it more if I feel a sense of community like you've invited.
I've never done this for a WT, but you could try using GIMP to edit pics. I've used it for image editing and it has similar features to photoshop but it's free! It is a bit clunky but once you get used to it it's a good program.
hahah "I'm not Mormon" lol. That got me! Only thing I know about Mormonism is that you can have multiple wives and that South Park claims that you all have the closest thing to a true religion

. Bruh, congrats on the Masters!!! My wife is in the process of finishing her Master's in Clinical Counseling specializing in art therapy with children, but she has a couple more semesters left lol The internship/practicum requirement is a bitch with counseling. I loved playing soccer, but my coordination with my feet was hard. I couldn't get used to sprinting and dribbling at the same time. I played defense back before moving to keeper where I was pretty stout. But I wasn't a fan of a large ball being kicked at my face with crazy force relatively often. What position did you play? def, mid, striker/wing, or keep (like me)? Also, Kudos to your ability to play tennis. I played with my old man years ago and I sucked. I could only ever lob it (to have the opponent spike the shit out of it) or hit hard and have it go out of bounds lulz.
Yea definitely come back bud! I find that I get bored too. That's why I only play off-the-wall builds that are tricky to play. I also find that competitive play keeps me interested. So if you ever wanna do a competitive WT with myself (and possibly others) we can! If this community becomes more active in discussion within WTs and posts, then it would most certainly retain my attention. Let me know. And I will most certainly be checking out GIMP! Thanks for letting me know about it. I have never heard of that program before.

Lovely to virtually meet you James! I'm glad you've been enjoying the WTs here, and welcome to the community.
I love how your opening post has encouraged others here to open up about themselves. As with all online communities there is a toxic minority here but on the whole we're a bunch of real good eggs I'd say.
As for me, my name is Tom, I'm 31. Being a Brit I guess I don't get the basketball thing so much but I'm a very avid road cyclist! I try to make a living as a professional musician, double bass being my main instrument. Of course this year has turned out disastrous, with all foreseeable concerts being postponed due to COVID! I'm also a recovering alcoholic. I came out of rehab just over a year ago, and will be 18 months sober in a couple of weeks, God willing. It's not something I usually broadcast, but I felt like it, and would also like to say if anyone's struggling with substance abuse or think they may have a problem, I'm always happy to share my experience; it's kind of become one of my callings.
Anyway, have a smashing day everyone. I'm off to have an endoscopy!
From being a fly-on-the-wall for a while now, I've noticed that you are one of the most genuine people here! I played the sax but was never good at it, and unless you can play it crazy good like the dude from Too Many Zooz, the sax isn't the panty dropper that I had expected hahah. I've been trying to pick up the piano, but I'm having a hard time consistently practicing. I'm sorry to hear about your struggles bro but you have a gift. I'm jealous cause I would love to be able to play an instrument as good as you. Plus the double bass is an awesome looking instrument! I tried cycling at one point in my life. My best friend is a HUUUGE cyclist and we had both lived in Myrtle Beach, SC and he got me into cycling to and from work everyday. He had significantly greater endurance than me so I could only keep up with him for so long before he took a couple turns and all of a sudden he was out of sight lol. After a few rainstorms on the way to work, my method of transportation to work changed pretty quick! I hope everything is all good and your procedure goes well! My wife JUST had a laproscopic cystectomy yesterday. Medical stuff is always nerve racking especially with everything going on. I'll be thinking of ya and I look forward to hearing how you're doing! And good on you for the sobriety!!! I have had a couple family members and friends get caught up with some stuff and I saw what it does... Some scary stuff man. I'm super happy for you that you got out of that whirlwind! I'm super excited to start my WTs and see how I compare to your barb and pally WTs! You provide some crazy entertaining WTs, Tom Bomb!!
