There's still people that look for walkthrough parties from time to time in East. All too often you'll run into commitment issues though. At some point, someone's going to have real life priorities and poof.
Nothing's ever been done to fully mitigate botting in D2. Even if you do find parties to do chaos runs or w/e, one thing about Diablo 3 I actually did like was segregated loot drops, because when the Ber rune drops and you miss out on it because you're standing in the back as a support character, you may be a little salty that you could've had that if you played alone.

D2 sucks as a multiplayer experience unless you play with small groups of people you know very well (or duel). You're basically punished for playing in a group. There's a reason so many people play single player.

Once you have your char in hell either you mf with it,which is better alone, or you level it up to pvp with it. What do you think is "normal play" ?

people do this, but only early on in ladder.

i helped many parties advance through hell on day 3 on my hdin

but in a way that they can still have fun, like give wps and help clear

enlightening and reasonable! thx for sharing your opinion, totally makes sense and answers some open questions

i just got most things i need and wouldnt care if others pick the good items faster than me, im even happy for others to find good stuff, but most of ingame players are not-jsp users being poor themself so teamplaying hell is actually only lost time for them..

IF youre heading for progress / become rich..

Good point, gotta realize we are 3 months into the ladder season and most ppl have already quit for the season.

You will find nm and hell games throughout the first 4 weeks or so after reset, after that people start to check out. And the first 48 hours is by far the most fun of the whole season. :D

transitioning from bnet to single player rejuvenated my interest in d2. Though I do still play HCCL on ladder resets because the bots take longer to seep into the market there.
