That guy hits hard - 1 hit = 1/2 HP pool. Even considered skipping him. Hit and run tactic worked.

Indeed, the game does not have many options available for base item and affixes in early Normal.
However, a rare item still has numerous options for its name.

Mercenaries in Classic D2 are not very useful. You can't equip them with items, can't give them healing pots and they do not travel with you from act to act. I very surprised that my A3 merc on P8 is capable of killing monsters. Not only he was nice suplement for my fire sorc, he also provided some dps. Very happy that I decided to hire him, will miss him in act4 for sure!


Took some time to find the Figurine


Ormus provided upgrade to my staff. +2 fireball and 20fcr. Very nice!
