For me running self-found, the real sweet drops are typically stuff that’s awesome for other builds (my summon necro finding Griffon’s and Death Fathom, for instance)

Think my biggest “OMG YES!” drop recently was a SoJ after probably less than 20 runs of NM Andy, on the now-deceased sorc in my sig. Of course it took another 500 or so to find Tal ammy

Dweb on hdonk was kind of underwhelming actually, mostly cause it was a crap roll, haha.

Gotta love them gg drops on a char that can’t use em lol. I can’t get Tal’s Amulet to drop. May have to just focus farm Andy until one does. Also haven’t seen a Rune above Um and I’m level 90. However, I’m not running any LK at all. If I post my grail, I will have that as a rule.




My personal favorite drop of all time doesn’t necessarily mean it’s the rarest item. It was mainly from shock value alone and because I really wanted to find one eventually. It just occurred in the most unusual way in my mind considering I thought Tal’s Armor was outside of Diablo’s TC.

The most amazing drop for me was a Magical Reinforced Mace from Nightmare Smith. As per Diablo Wiki it is possible:

Reinforced Mace- Item lvl 61
Nightmare Smith- Max TC/ Rune 63/ VEX

It's very rare to see such a drop, because nobody is doing Smith runs.
