please point out in my inventory what slot has the invisible gem

It's on the ground from the flawless amethyst you had in your inventory. It takes the gem from your inventory and upgrades it and puts it on the ground

Sure, all these years, on different systems, installs and patches, your gem shrines have magically worked differently to everyone else who has ever played...

That's now how computer systems and data look up tables work, unless they are modified or corrupt they always return the result as programmed. You may even be installing from a corrupt copy with compromised data mpq files. Try it on Battlenet and you will see it working properly, so it's definitely a problem with your installation.

The most likely scenario is you don't realise it's working properly and aren't paying attention to which gem is being replaced with an upgraded version.

it is not. it was the only gem in my inventory. i took it out from stash trying to get upgraded rubies, and got a p amethyst.




i'll be back with a before/after post after i find a shrine

Just to say I do have ur ruby in a random spot.. Open hole above it and open hole under the gc. Almost like something belongs in them spots. I have always gotten an upgrade of whats in inventory..

If uve had different versions then maybe urs could be corrupt
