no difference in playing next to a mix of botters or making a priv game by your self atleast u got the opportunity to stil go play with people lol

single player has the ability to set the # of players in game to 8. so you can get drops/exp that you can't get on B.net

mostly tho it's just for a challenge, players 8 HC single player is a crap shoot. any extra strong fant or might pack of archers can RIP any char if you dont watch out.

or people with terrible internet connection that still want to play diablo 2.

This. Iirc, most people include a space or an extra line at the end when they copy and paste. People can copy and paste that code easily but it 90%+ Results in error because of, from what I believe, people adding that extra space/line.
