Well it adds the magic damage to frenzy, so i dont actually switch to beserk. but i see what youre saying

No, it doesn't add damage to frenzy.
Some of physical damage is converted into magic. Total damage doesn't increase...

Edit :
and dual grief deals more damage than grief+BotD.

Best merc is Pride/Might if you have Fortitude on barbarian, Reaper's toll/Might for an Enigma barbarian.

best merc setup for frenzy

a2 might aura
reapers 15ias jool
guillaumes 15is jool
treache

best weapons for frenzy = double grief

use these or ur frenzy sucks d

x2 about the Merc setup

33% is a nice chance to cast decrepify plus it has a solid amount of life leech. Treachery also gives that little added fast psn with venom. The 45 IAS from armor + 30 IAS from two jewels = lots of decrep and life steal. You can use ePride as well in a good base speed item but you might have to switch the helm to Andy's with a 15 IAS jewel. 15 IAS - 30 FR if you want to get rid of the negative fire resist and hit 75 IAS.

If I'm wording this correctly, the + damage from Grief isn't shown in the character screen. It will show considerably low damage but it's there. If made in a 15% ED 35-40 damage phase blade and the + damage was 400, it's a 435-440 damage weapon. It also has deadly strike, prevent monster heal, ctc venom, -% enemy poison resistance and ignore target defense. Sure it doesn't have life/mana leech but it does have life/mana after each kill. For PvM, Grief is a nice weapon. Maybe you could use a different off hand weapon. A Crescent Moon would be a nice addition to the Grief. CtC Static Shock along with the -35% enemy lightning resist makes it a fun weapon as well as the open wounds. Just equip the Crescent Moon second and your Frenzy speed will be based off the Grief's IAS plus the gear you wear like Laying of Hands for that 20 IAS, 50% fire resist and the sweet 350% damage to demons.

there is nothing else as ''powered'' than dual grief... even close

for style go with grief + azure and everything will be a joke to clear (safe as fuck to play)

The skill Frenzy is for deranged hill billies. Real barbarian men use whirlwind.
