Only place I had problems with max valk and my merc was Hell Ancients, this is from my WT many years ago, which I completed and my armor was upped Twitchroe.

You can go with the Plague zon option wielding Harmony on switch so that your Valk & Merc moves into position faster, you will also up Decoy later on to keep the valk alive longer, do not worry about other passives other than Critical strike... but again that would be later in the stage of building this character.

I tested this type of build, I have one already level 75, it is slow progress and it uses fortitude for armor... more damage and nice res, haven't got her fully setup yet, but getting there on Single player.

Sounds an interesting theory. I seem to recall I had a high level valk that had CtC amp, no idea how I made it happen though.

I’ve had my shadow warrior cast amp sometimes.

Valks get random gear that can CtC amp on striking, it is random, but definately possible.

If I remember correctly, the best spawnable Valk with the best gear is Skill level 27 Valk.
