I find the journey through the jail/catacombs rather protracted and dull; this was no exception. Just SS-ed the Andy kill. Nice drops


Was fairly safe but a looot of kiting around the blood pool waiting for that poison damage

Radament down, upgraded to A2 merc, which works like a dream with Plague Javelin. He attracts the mobs while I pelt them with poison clouds


Cube at last! Time to up some gems


Staff and amulet runs also fairly uneventful. Fast-forwarded to Summoner. I keep finding nice bows! Stop tempting me!

Duriel down - awesome drops as always Wasn't too bad, me and Waheed chugged a thawing potion before going in so we 'ite.


After getting the golden bird/potion, decided to stop by Hratli's...


And after getting the eye and Gidbinn, Asheara...

And Ormus...


Anyway, onwards and upwards: brain. This area was actually a lot of fun, watching all those irritating little rat buggers drop like flies from the poison


On the way to the heart... last one I need to cube up Ort for an Ancient's Pledge (when I find a 3os shield)

This was weird, never knew an exceptional could drop so early!


Flail crafted, orb and council down. Was fairly straightforward, crafted a Malice in a 3os Scythe for Waheed so he's doing pretty good. Into the Durance we go!

Quite a tasty helm, certainly better than my old one!


That's as far as I've got for now. Thought I'd show allocation thus far (note: got one point in Critical Strike, Decoy, and its two prerequisites. Not using bow tree):


It's been an interesting play style so far, kind of reminiscent of novamancer, except you can cast from much further away and the poison duration is longer. Hope I don't screw up and RIP early 'cause quite enjoying it!

As you can see kind of poison/light hybrid for now; the poison is horrifically slow on /p8 for killing act bosses, at least for now. I'm told that changes later/with better gear

Haha, ya beat me to it! I ran Countess maybe five times but didn't find any ghost packs. Luck of the draw I suppose.
