Thought about that too, like zombies in a1 norm. But since the numbers were so small, errors could have been hidden.

How about trash mob in pits? At lvl 98 devilkin gives 40 exp so I guess you'll get more and no errors should be hidden :P

Maybe. But nonetheless, a champ/unique should yield the correct experience.

Yes we already established that I have calculated it wrong. But the numbers that you presented I have used to calculate as well and it still doesn’t add up, refer to post #8 for the final product using that number.

Base EXP x Champion Modifier x Players Modifier x Level 87 Modifier

35,520 x 3 x 450% x 14.0625% = 67,432

Judging by your character screen you gained 67,432 EXP. You don’t receive a penalty as you’re within 5 levels of the monster (exactly 5 levels in fact).

Instead of 14.06% you would receive 10.546875% and you would also be affected by an experience penalty of 80.859375% due to the level difference, applied in the same calculation I wrote in the previous message.

40,894 EXP for the same kill.

This is wrong, you need to modify the *base* experience by the champion modifier, then take the new base and enhance it with the player setting modifier: Experience = X * (n + 1) / 2

PikaBhew researched all the right information (I will list it below for people who may want to reference it), he just didn't calculate it in the right order.

35,520 x 3 = 106,560

106,560 x 9 /2 = 479,520

479,520 x 0.140625 = 67,432.5
