wow, I could smell the deeds being written as I was fighting. Some quick reactions on the juvs are the only thing that saved me.



very close to ripping on a couple of occasions. Again, like meph, was over a lot quicker than I thought, I think it was the nm Duriel fight that made me think I would need all these pots, but with decent smite speed it didn't take too long.

had max fire res and cleaned out all my gear and charms, pretty much didn't bother with light res as I thought with the right positioning the lightning hose can't hit you, in the first engagement I must have not been stood close enough as the hose was hitting me and almost got me. but after that I moved position and it was fairly straight forward from there.



Hell Andariel next? I easily have 85 poison res, but her melee attack (187dmg), with a high dmg roll and critical strike (374dmg), can rip me in one shot, so will just have to be a case of can I kill her quickly enough before she lands it. However, she only has 60,000 hp in hell and nm diablo had 90,000, so if I can kill her in a minute and hope she doesn't land that big hit, it might just be possible.

You can succeed with a level 1 smiter (without help of crushing blow). Normal Duriel don't have incredible amount of life yet...

Also, didn't you already rush your testing char to hell act 5, just to get the benefit of 3 x skill quest + stat quest + Anya quest ?

well, norm could be done without crushing blow I think, I wasn't too bothered about that though because people have achieved that before. I was more concerned with nightmare. without crushing blow it's impossible in nightmare. you can't remove 60,000 to 90,000 hit points without it. you can see in the videos just how many juvs I went through, now imagine how long it would have taken with just 10-19 damage smite lol. The pots would have run out long before I even took 1/4 off their life.

I haven't rushed any chars to hell act 5. I only do the quest up to the point of the act I'm in. which is why I show the quest tab at the end of each video.

hell andi will be almost impossible as I showed in the post above, her melee can 1 shot me, but i'll try for the lols.

Was a fun challenge and it's now come to it's natural (predictable) conclusion.

I know for sure I could kill her with the same build using a lvl 5 char. with flawed rubies and more stat points and gnasher (open wounds) on switch, I could kill her. The problem is, with the char I used, she has more damage with a high critical strike than I have hit points, so it's literally impossible. the only way I could do it is with hundreds of attempts and getting lucky with low dmg rolls., but... this is on HC so all eq is lost now.

I had fun with this. Gl everyone.

Just for fun, since I've only ever seen poison builds or smiters kill Andi, here is a much more refined Level 1 build for Killing Andariel, quickest i've ever seen it be done.

Those last two andy videos were awesome.
I enjoyed the sin one with the one high dmg hit that killed her.
Wasn't exactly expecting that.
