Should I make crescent moon in an eth pole arm for merc and then use my Um rune?
Should I make Ko Ko Mal in a Troll Nest or keep it for CtA?

I just found duriels - Should my merc use shaft as it does now, or use duriels shell although atm it wont be beneficial because he has 47 res?

I would go for ko ko mal into a better base than troll's nest, you will find another mal before you find ist + ohm imo gl

I would make Sanctuary in a tower shield style for best block. Either Tower or Pavise.
Keep Shaft for now, but aim for treachery. I didn't do any calculations, but Treachery might not be bad for you either - could make you attack much faster and the fade will give you dr + res.
Do you have any other plans for your um? If you don't need insight and your merc needs more dmg for killing light immunes, then yeah go for it. Don't do it for the -35% enemy light res though, I don't believe that effects your attacks.
