I dunno dude, the aura is cool but I gotta agree with the other dude. Mavina's is excellent for a bowa, just like Tals is awesome for a sorc and to an extent, IK is badass for a barb.

yea i agree with you those sets are badass for the char type and if your low budget. but if you have the means, would you equip ur sorc with tals or with coh/shako/spirit/hoto, etc.? or would u rather equip ur barb with ik, or with ebotd/fort/arreats, etc.?
thats what im getting at with mav. i know its a really nice set with lots of super nice bonuses, but when i have all that other gear i just cant see mavs still being better.

i would love mavs set but the gear limits the mods your zon can get. mav set takes up all your important mod gear, so if you dont hit the points u want for ur zon, theres not much room for flexibliity. for example, i wouldnt be able to get 100% pierce (without sacrificing skill points) without razortail. i wouldnt get +50% cold damage withou nightwing/ice bow. with my gear set up i can hit the ias bps i want, the damage i want, the pierce i want, and the frw i want. thats all im getting at.

A fair point. And I agree, but for any of my sorcs, I dominate in full tals. I used to have 2 Bug Tals on NL and used one for my full tals one, and one on my smiter.

I always loved Full Tals and used it on my MF sorcs, my random build sorcs and ofc my botting light sorc. Nothing guarantees more living than tals xD

imo if you have access to cold dmg charms i would go +% dmg route via night wings etc

but if you dont i think Mavs may be superior

There's also the price of Mavs. It's fucking pennies in comparison to Faith, COH etc. You could trade 1 of those runewords for full mavs lol.

It boils down to what the char is for, and whether you wanna invest all that dosh

I had 2 BTs when I got my stars, had enough moolah to buy from a swedish shop. Was worth it, but not for long because I stupidly traded the NL BTals for a non-perfect Faith GMB, then the other one for like 300fg

Wish I had kept my bugged belt aswell as it is definately the most FTW bugged item evar

Great thing bout mavs is you can socket weapon/hat/armor. That's 3 extra stats.

On "normal" frostmaiden I use nightwings + either 4 soc/life armor or tyraels so I have few sockets there anyway

The only real problem with mavs is that you can't get 100% pierce which is pretty big damageloss
