Do the stats of the item used to make the iron golem actually affect the stats of the golem? Example using a crude/broken metal item much worse than using a high end runeword or unique/set item? If so, does this happen in both D2R and older versions like 1.13c/d and 1.14 LoD? Thanks in advance!

Revive is a one-point wonder, no need to put skill points in to it IMO.

Corpse Explosion is your main damage dealer, as others have said on high player counts your summons aren't doing much damage.

I notice your merc is missing crushing blow - this is what will speed up your boss killing speed especially. Kingslayer is a fairly cheap runeword with 33% CB, there's also Death but that has Glacial Spike which may shatter corpses. Could also go Guli helm and get leech from the weapon or armour.

If you really wanted a swag iron golem you could make one out of Pride for the conc aura, but again, it has "hit freezes target"

Iron golems poofing is more of a thing on Bnet, never had it happen offline! Remeber you can only make them out of "metallic" items though, so not bows

Oh wow that's crazy. No wonder mine always weren't so great. I'll hop on my summoner necro sometime soon and use a decent high end item to cast my iron golem. I appreciate the answer. Can't believe I never knew this. Or maybe I did way back, but forgot since getting back into it like 5 years or so ago.
