Although cosmetics are subjective, Grandfather has a certain aesthetic appeal to older players that I was appealing to.

Grief is top, no question, EBOTD is better than Grandfather no question. But if you mow the game down on a Grandfather it's not only still easy but there's something special about it that Grief can never fill.

The reason I suggested GF for this particular case is because it's pvm and there are a TON of builds thast work for pvm outside of the meta. you can pretty much use anything in PVM. In fact, GF is overpowered by far in pvm lol.

I've lost my point. But I know that you are a gfg user who delves deep into trophy gear. So maybe you forgot how great and nostalgic uniques can be in general pvm ^^

as an edit to this post and on a re-think (toilet), larzuk didnt give 3os but you could get 3os on a magic by 3 chipped gems + magic back then. So it was never larzuk that gave it. Just a changed cube recipe.

Ofcourse doombringer can be upgraded friend and you can get it ethereal and upgrade it as i did and many other uniques,

Eth upg headstriker with its Deadly strike is another great unique sword.
