Players: "The A2 mercenary is quite cool, but he does no damage. We need better weapons for him!"
Developers: "Ok we give you the obvious solution: Take a stick, and use a belt to attach some sort of knive to one end. Also throw in a random diamond for some reason."
It is the first time that I ever used that cube recipe. Of course I would have loved the other form of leech, but I am pleasantly surprised by the perfect roll on damage for the first try (80ed/6ml)!

I got a bunch of sticks, belts, knives and diamonds, so I was able to supply some upgrade to my merc (71ed/20ias)

Bug goes extinct. This fight went way easier than I imagined. Due to the massive experience boost on P8 I was way over-leveled.

A3 was pretty smooth. My merc still hits like a truck load of trucks, so I just follow him. Due to the lack of exciting news, we skip to Travincal! Just reached my goal (level 30) before fighting the High Council. These are my skill trees for now:
