hi what is the best team for 5 players to start the game on the ladder reset ?
We tried to play blizz sorc, pal conv, bo barb, wind druid and trap and the hell baalruns were too hard

That setup should handle Baal runs as long as you have OK gear. To enhance it you would want to swap windy for a Hdin running Concentration. Then the other Pally could run hammers too.

Windys don’t do much dmg pvp, and Hdins without concentration even worse.

I'd go for:
1. blizzard tele sorc - spirit sword, viper and mosers and she's ready to tele anywhere in hell with bo from barb(assuming she has holy shield merc)
2. fire sorc - because she does insane dmg with crap items or a summoner if you want to be 100% safe
3. barb - bo + leap attack
4. Pala - hammerdin
5. Pala - Resist aura until you have enough items to cover them, than he can switch to conviction. All of the time while you rush yourselves he'll be wielding hammers, using the concentration aura from the other pala.


Don't use any light damage characterz, because they don't do enough damage before they are well equipt.

Nope, sorcs are low defence characters. Especially in the start of ladder. Which is why I start with a deffiance merc. This way with barb bo and Shiver armor I don't get much hits.
And besides, you don't really need holly freeze when you have Glacial spike. My merc rarely even gets hit..

Lighting casters become powerful with good items. They are pretty much worthless at the start. Unless you have a dedicated conviction pala, which in a 5 man team is not recommended..

sorc does not need high defense on the first place, if you need it to survive on sorc, your playing it wrong

I'm not talking about high def. I'm talking about a minimum of 2-3k deff so you can tele in Hell with the crap gear you usually have at the start of ladder.
If you're a 5-man team let one of the other chars take holly freeze merc. For the teler safety is most important and there is no other merc that provides more safety than the Deffiance merc.
