Hi pvm section!

Meet Katie!

This will be a Version 1.09 walk.



Rules:
- Softcore (Whatever. i've died before on hardcore and i'm not in the mood right now)
- P8, except for (meph/bloody/whatever i feel like) reruns of course
- obviously TRY not to die. but if I die, I'll post my deaths as they happen.
- mules will be allowed here, because i can't figure out how to extend stash in this version.

Goals:
- Reach, & kill hell Baal
- Find Buriza-Do Kyanon!
- Find Azurewrath Crystal Sword (my all-time favourite item that has ever existed)
- Find prepatch 5% frw small charms!
- Have fun, and experience some wacky 1.09 stuff

Process:
- I'll be posting an update and screenshot upon successful completion of each and every quest, as well as notable things that happen in between (as well as deaths, but lets not manifest that)
- I'll be allowing myself 3 restats, even though they weren't yet implemented

Things to remember about 1.09
- none of the 1.10 uniques or runewords that we know (and love) exist here.
- iron maiden in chaos sanctuary (shouldn't be an issue for me at all)
- Runes display as white instead of orange here, so they're fairly easy to miss
- Mana potions are not purchasable from akara or any vendor in this patch, so mana leech is gonna be KEY.

So can we bet where you die first for giggles? joking with you, we would have to say No you can not bet on yourself to win the Prize Pool.

YAAAAAAY go get that 1.09 azure baby!

Things to remember about 1.09:
- Mercs cannot be hired at high levels. you have to level them with you if you want a high level merc.
- Apparently there is a bug with rejuv potions, if you sell them to akara, and shift click to buy them back, it'll fill all available belt slots with rejuvs, so i'll HAVE to try that heh

If that works with big rejuvs it will be very OP. The moment you get the cube and get yourself just 1 big rejuv, you can basically carry on with the rest of the game without the need of health potions. The questions is - how much gold will it cost to constantly buy big rejuvs from Akara?

Just my personal thing, but no way would I full up my belt with full rejuvs.

As for gold cost, you can easily cover the cost if you want to go that route... just fill up your belt 2x and put extras away, then reset your belt how you like it, for myself... 2 columns Super Heal, 1 column Supr Mana and last column Full juvs (character dependent also).
