Welcome.
I would like to know if some quest bosses (other than act bosses) actually have an innate MF boost when killed for the first time.
The idea is to try the Duriel method on them.
Izual comes to mind, i'll test him when i can.

Not sure what you mean.

But if I remember correctly, Countess should be killed /players 1 for more runes to drop, whereas all others should be /players 8 and kill them all on every level.

But been basically 8 years since I done SP /P8 and over 10 years B.net.

I know how to glitch Andy & Meph (well 1.12) ... so that was not over my head, that is why I followed up with Countess because the drops are manipulated by how many are in the game, it is not a Quest drop continually killing her /players 1 to increase the number of runes to drop (1-3) vs /players 8 (1 drop)

I do not believe the MF is increased, it's more so the loot table is reduced and things are removed from it.

I do believe that the extra MF is act boss specific aswell, but you never stop learning.
Anyway, i'll still try something with the council, and maybe izual, assuming what i want to try works with those 2.

their drop rate is so low compared to act bosses that it's not worth trying.
if it works, your best bets would be frozenstein, treestorm and hephasto i guess

Countess; first time kill on hell difficulty she can drop a Lo rune. After completing quest she can’t drop Lo rune any longer.

hell countess can always drop Lo rune
