Hello! I have never done a d2jsp w/t after 10 years on this forum but enjoy reading all of the ones here so decided to finally do one.
I wanted to make it interesting so I chose a build that I've never done before - a kicker assassin.

Rules:
P8 for progressing and questing
P8 for reruns (except tower)
No extended stash
Ladder RWs enabled (I hope I configured this correctly, but we'll see at the first insight attempt)
Softcore (I know, I'm a wuss)
May switch to traps if I hit a serious dead end

For transparency, I do have BH maphack installed as you will see in the screenshots but I am not using it to reveal the map.
I enjoy having it for the experience bar, the item roll info, and for the quick way to see all stats.

Countess Quest kill. Ral + the rare ring was actually pretty nice





I'm not going to run countess for now, would rather progress since my damage is nice.

Andariel slain



Hsarus' Boots + another pretty sweet rare ring. Too bad I'm not a caster, but I'll be using this for the light res and fire res for sure.

Ran Andariel a few times on P8 before I got bored. I was hoping for Bloodfist or Sander's gloves + Twitchthroe but decided to move on. Hitting up countess before Act 2.



Nice bonuses from partial set. Liking the AR!



Terrible Nagel - not using this over my resistance rings

Ran countess and made a few low level runewords that will make Act 2 a breeze. I feel dirty switching away from claw weapons but not bad enough to switch back. Unfortunately I put a point into weapon block so that's one wasted skill point so far.







Nadir + Steel give me decent mana after each kill while Stealth is just broken in general. I'd still prefer Twitchthroe but the frw and mana regen is nice for now.

I also shopped this pretty sweet bone shield from Drognan. I was only hoping for the blocking suffix but the tangerine prefix is nice for beetles.

Fun fact: that fire mage behind the pillar killed me after my health was dropped to 1hp from poison. This is why I don't do HC!
