Depends what build you are. NM Defensive provides holy freeze, which is very popular defensive mechanic. If you have good items and are a melee character, a might act 2 merc is a strong choice.

might for physical dps. holy freeze is nice for sorc for example, so slow things down.

Might for extra damage
Defiance as insight synergy and extra defense
