For those who messaged me regarding Paladin the Medic, I am sorry to quit when I was right there near the end; but with the new Modded Forum opening up, I decided that I want to stay here in PvM. So this is my first time playing the 100% vanilla version of Diablo 2 Single Player! It's going to be awful, I'm sure... I am used to either playing Ladder Bnet or modded PlugY/D2SE versions, so not having access to a majority of excellent "Runewords" and an extended stash is going to be an adjustment

Having said that, I do plan on creating another Medic build while using the 1.14d SP version. It just won't be right away for I didn't want to start all over with the same build after getting so far. For those interested in seeing the progress of a Healadin-type build from Act 1 (Normal) to Act 3 (Hell) and DClone, then here is the link to what I was able to do (and not do hah)...

Anyways, back to this walkthrough!! So I'm going to be doing a typical Wind Druid with the primary skill being Werebear while casting Hurricane as a defensive feature to slow down monsters and chisel away at their health (I'm sure the casting and un-casting Werebear to restart Hurricane will get rather annoying at times lol).
Here is the rough draft (strong emphasis on "rough"):

Rules & Restrictions (copied from Textbook's Walkthrough Challenge
)NormalAct I
- I must kill Blood Raven prior to Level 6 (screenshot entering the Burial Grounds and directly after the kill).
- I must kill Andariel until I have received five (5) unique drops from her (screenshot each unique drop w/ stats screen open).*
*= The
fifth (5th) unique that I receive from Andarial, I must use through the entirety of Act II (if it's class specific, I may use the
fourth [4th] unique)
Act II
- I may NOT hire an Act II mercenary until I have reached the Kurast Docks.
- I may NOT use Thawing Potions while fighting Duriel (Half Freeze Duraction & Cannot Be Frozen modded items are allowed if I can find them...
)
Act III
- I must complete every quest in Act III (screenshot every quest completion)
- Once I arrive in Act III, any stat points that I accumulate may NOT be used until I reach Act IV.
- I must explore the Durance of Hate naked (exception: weapon)(can re-equip items upon reaching Durance lvl 3).
Act IV
- I may NOT complete the Hell's Forge quest. However, I am required to obtain the Hammer (screenshot Hammer w/ stat screen open).
- I must kill Izual with less than 200 total armor (screenshot prior to the fight & the kill w/ stat screen open for both).
- Upon entering the Chaos Sanctuary, I may NOT stack any resistances (screenshot the Diablo kill w/ stat screen open).
- I may NOT move onto Act V until I have acquired a Perfect Sapphire.
Act V
- Upon immediately entering Act V, I must go to Larzuk and buy one of his armors. This is my new armor for the remainder of Act V (screenshot armor while it is still in the store).
- I must open every Evil Urn that I see.
- After rescuing Anya and receiving her gifted item, I must use it until I have defeated Andariel (NM) (screenshot the item w/ stat screen open).
- I may NOT stock more than fifty (50) potions when attempting the Ancient's Summit quest.
- Any unique(s) dropped by Baal must be sold to the shop and NEVER used (quest kill only).
Nightmare
*There won't be as many rules now as things will start to become more difficult*Act I
- I may NOT use any skills that are Level 18+ (upon reaching Act II, this rule no longer applies).
- I must find a unique bow during Act I BEFORE I can attempt to fight Andariel (NM) (screenshot drop w/ stat screen open).
- While battling Andariel, I may NOT use any Antidote Potions.
Act II
- Upon reaching Act II, I may NOT hire a mercenary from Act II (NM) until I reach the Kurast Docks.
- I must clear the Halls of the Dead and find the chest room (screenshot the cleared chest room w/ stat screen open).
- I may NOT use Thawing Potions during my fight with either the Summoner or Duriel.
Act III
- Throughout Act III Nightmare, I may NOT use any "Runewords" at all.
- I may NOT complete the Golden Bird quest, EVER.
- BEFORE I can attempt Mephisto (NM), I must achieve max Fire & Cold resistances (screenshot prior to the fight with Mephisto [NM] w/ stat screen open).**
- If Mephisto (NM) drops any form of boots or gloves from his quest drop, then I may re-run him as much as I'd like (screenshot loot drop of quest kill).***
**= Poison & Lightning resistances are
NOT applied to this rule
***= However, if Mephisto (NM) does
NOT drop any boots/gloves, then I may
NEVER re-run Mephisto (NM).
Act IV
- I may NOT use a shield in Act IV (exception: the fight w/ Izual).
- Upon entering the Chaos Sanctuary, I may NOT use any Level 24+ skills
Act V
- I may NOT do any intentional re-runs (exception: save & exits [SnE] to prevent from dying).
- After rescuing Anya, I must wear the gifted item from her until I have defeated Andariel (Hell) (screenshot the item).
HellAct I
- I may NOT use Antidote Potions during my battle with Andariel.
Act II
- I may NOT use any Thawing Potions during both of my fights with the Summoner and Duriel.
Act III
- There are no restrictions nor requirements for Act III (Hell).
Act IV
- There are no restrictions nor requirements for Act IV (Hell)
Act V
- Upon beginning Anya's rescue quest, I must NOT wear any armor (body armor) until I save her, NOR may I use any Thawing Potions throughout this particular quest.
- When I fight the Ancient's, I may NOT drop more than sixty (60) potions on the ground (all types of potions are permitted) (screenshot the potions on the ground prior to beginning the battle w/ stat screen open)
Oh! I almost forgot that this entire walkthrough must be played on "/players set to 8."
