is it allowed to post WT's in here played on modded d2?
in theory, 99% people here play moded diablo2 by using ladder rws, extended stash, pandemonium event

but...

would it be allowed, in theory, to post a wt of one of the d2 mods that has different maps, skill set, items etc, as long as the mod name is not shown or indicated in any way?

I don't know about anyone else, but I'd read it.

It's not allowed, but it should be because of exactly what you said. Every walk in here is modded.
I've tried doing several Median walks years ago only to have my topics closed almost immediately

I mean, whole youtube is going insane (in a good way) of the new diablo2 mod. Dbrunski plays it, MrLlama plays it and they LOVE IT.
I think it's gonna "make diablo2 great again" in a way and increase the player base drastically.

It would SUCK if we're not able to do wt's here as the popularity of the game would sky rocket again.

same with some online mods on which I'd like to make WT of in singleplayer.
would in absolutely no way make any harm to anyone, staff members, admins, or users here, because:
1. it's singleplayer (tradings wouldn't be affected)
2. it's not risky in terms of trojans (even Blizzard North member plays one of the mods and player base is bigger than current vanilla d2 multiplayer)
3. it would make PvM sub diverse and perhaps more interesting

1 and 2 wouldn't even be possible due to the fact mod names wouldn't be named and "advertised"

I wish it was but it’s not. I have seen modded WTs posted and they get closed every time.

Those mods are few years old, their popularity is higher than vanilla d2 was since 1.12, they don't have as many cookie cutter builds and they require average or more IQ to play. I guess you're out of the picture
