Single Pass Rules:
• Always players 8 (bosses and countess included).
• Hardcore
• Absolutely no rerunning maps or bosses.
• All items are solo self found; However, I will "retire" items to shared stash. These stashed items will not be used once stashed.
• Plugy is only to be used for the extended stash; no restatting, reskilling, or ubers.

The intention is to theory craft a single build, avoiding respec, that can handle all aspects of the game but still presents some challenge. My goal is to full clear every map and defeat Hell Baal. I will be streaming this run everyday on twitch.



The first time I tried a single pass was back in 2015 and this is also the class that I played. I never did finish that run; It was abandoned at the end of act 1 hell. So I do have high aspirations for it. You guys voted inf favor of bonemancer over a monk-a-din by 16:14 (druid got 5 votes <3) The name inspiration came from a streamer friend of mine Walterooski (egaditsash/ashashin/kicksin's husband). The name came to me when thinking about the "White" runeword thats core for this run - hence Walter White + Walterooski = WalterWhitooski.

I started the run yesterday but did not feel there was much content to write up a post. As most caster types experience, starting the run can be a bit slow until getting your bread and butter skill. You're also always chugging mana pots. This was the case using teeth. Early on in Act 1 I mainly just used teeth to wipe trash (like fallen) quick. I used amp, clay golem, a skeleton, and javelins mostly for bigger targets and this worked well enough to level to 18 which was around jail. There weren't many great drops early. I shoved some chipped sapphires into a helm and quilted armor. Most of the gear isn't worth writing about, but I will talk about and show some of the cool stuff I do have.

Over the course of Act 1 and Act 2 I've dropped a lot of charms. I surprisingly have found some decent 6-7% res sc, mostly fire and cold 3-4 of em. I cubed into a decent +4@ 17mf neck. Duriel blessed me with a dual res FCR ring. I also found an early 5str 15 LRes GC.



Andariel wasn't that bad. although the poison constantly wrecked the clay golem. The fight was pretty quick.

Act 2 was pretty quick. I leveled bone spear to 5 and started picking up some points for decrepify, terror, golem mastery, summon resist. I've also allocated some points to bone prison already, even though it doesn't last very long, I want this decently level'd for NM to reduce cost. I figured its worth keeping the cost of bone spear low considering I have +3 skills to it already and it kills quickly too.



This was the easiest normal duriel fight I've ever had. Even though my decrep is only 4s... golem and decrep made this a quick feat.

I was intent on saving 300k+ gold before spending time shopping. I managed to do this by claw viper temple. I spent about an hour shopping for my +3 Bone Spear wand. The first 3x +3s were 1os 2x Magical. I even saw a +2BS +2CE but decided that wasn't worth it. I won't be wasting a socket quest on this as easy as it is to shop. I figure a 5/6 chance at 2os is worth dropping an amn + p.ammy.



I also managed to cube into my first eth from el and made a stealth. Love that FCR and FRW this early. You can see my resists are decent for early normal. The lightning needs some love - lore will help with that eventually.

Did you clear the Tal Rasha tombs at the end of Act II or you went straight to Duriel?

I full clear every map. This means always doing all the extra dungeons (caves, crypts, tombs, temples, red portals, cellars, etc) in each act as well as their respective overworlds.

As per usual in normal, I'm able to blow by Acts 3 and 4 fairly quickly and get this done in one stream.

Act 3 was fairly easy. My viewers had me gamble for belts and gloves via channel point rewards. The gloves were a big miss, but I rolled a nice plated belt. In addition to this I've dropped several nice charms. 19 FRes 15 LRes 14 LRes 24 CRes grand charms and a couple more 6-8% sc. I'm capped on cold and fire even without making use of some of these charms. I'm looking like I'll be just a lum rune, "smoke", away from being resistance ready for hell.

Finally a decent early 3 ring roll amulet. Mephisto fight was over quick. I keep decrep up and resummon golem as needed and fit as many bone spears in between.

Act 4 dropped me my first unique. 26 MF chanices. The thul runes also started dropping.



I had a nice amn rune from my forge. I'm only a p.ammy away from being able to punch holes in my wand.

I knew fighting infector in the corner would be tough, but I wanted to try practicing with the pitifully weak walls/prison and decrep (4s lul) to see how I could manage. I don't advise trying this when you don't have any rejuvs (3 columns mana 1 hp). I nearly died here for screwing around. I really should never die in normal, rarely in nightmare. That would have been embarrassing. I'll be running a column of rejuvs now.

Diablo was just as easy as the previous bosses. Scarier, but easy.

My day started immediately with a dol rune YAY, but it didn't end there. I had another solid run of drops (for normal difficulty) this run. This time it was several shaels, dols, orts, thuls, and a sol:



I decided to try my first imbue at level 40 since this was my best odds for +2 PnB or +1 necro. Not the best roll, but 2os with +1 PnB is good enough for now. I threw in a flawless diamond and tir rune. It's a temporary head. I imbue again immediately in nightmare with a demon head (to keep alvl ~40). I think I'd prefer a decent "rhyme" or "splendor" base with a bone spear automod. CE, armor, or decripify wouldn't be awful either.

It was really fun using frenzytaur revives for a lot of the backend of act 5. Normal was a cakewalk, but I expected that on this build. The constant drinking isn't as bad as it was on vengeance or magezon mainly due to kill speed. Hopefully I'll get a decent exceptional base (partizan/bec-d) with 4os and another sol for my first "insight".

Baal was cake like the rest. Clay Golem + Decrepify just make them laughable kills.



I probably won't be putting points anywhere other than vitality. Yet, I still may not be able to have 1k+ health for hell. That's kind of frightening. I do expect bone armor to help and it will probably shield ~7-800 by then. My resists look solid for a nm start. If I end up going the "smoke" route than I'm basically guaranteed these resistances in Hell. But, most of my gear is pretty low in that department. Hsarus' Heel, a pidly 10fire 8light plated belt, chance guards, "stealth", "lore", and my 14@ trophy. My charms are pretty solid here. I'll be crafting a lot of caster stuff for hell, belt, rings, neck. My goal is capped FCL res, 48% FCR, 1k health, +4 all skills. I think I can probably do all of this by hell except for the +all skill. That will require some luck. Either a circlet, another harlequins, homunculus or decent rare trophy, decent neck, or 2x um for bone.
