I know ow and cb helps i gave merc crescent moon but it doesn't seem to be enough
does infinity aura work against him?
Or should i try to get as much ar and pd + cb on myself and jab him down?

a fact for u : the minus light res on any item only affects the char wearing it so crescent moon makes no sense for merc
the same goes for the minuzs light res for infy

-res from crescent moon doesnt reduce it for you if merc uses it

I remember it being quite easy on cold sorc aswell so -res on myself helps aswell right?

Yessir, auras will apply to Dclone.

-res is more useful for boosting damage after Infinity breaks immunities. DClone is not immune (95), he'll still have +10 light resist after lvl12 Conviction (Infinity) so -res bringing him down in to negative would help, but prolly not essential. Got a Griffon's Eye? Tstrokes would be good too of course.

Oh and yeah, -res from stuff like Griffon's/Facets/Cold Mastery doesn't apply if the monster is immune to that element.
