Introducing Safetydance, the Anti-Cookie Cutter Javazon

I'm not very far into this character, but I wanted to post this to judge interest in reading it.

Background
I've wanted to make a character that used only crafted gear for a long time. I've loved the barb and pally walks where people use crafted weapons only. But I've always enjoyed the javazon, so Safetydance will only use white or Safety Crafted items.

What does this mean: Lots of gem farming, lots of grinding, lots of screaming at bad RNG rolls.

What else does it mean: No farming for hours for Titans, Razortail, Raven, Highlords, Griffins, CtA, Enigma, Phoenix.

What else, else does it mean: I'm going to die at some point. It's inevitable.

Rules
* Can only use white or Safety Crafted items
* Merc can use any gear
* Hardcore
* P8 except for re-runs

Skills
20 - CS
20 - LF
20 - LB
20 - PS
6 - Passives
<rest> - LS or Valk

Possible End Game Gear
4/40 Crafted Javas - Pretty sure these are possible
10% MR Dragon Shield (not going for the Monarch probably)
+2 / 10% Blocking Ammy
2 / 20 War Gauntlets

I completely forgot to take a screenshot of the character selection screen, so here she is taking down Corpsefire.

I love the idea! It'll be most refreshing to see a javazon with restrictions from the usual GG steamroll gear. Craft walks are fun to follow, agreed!

Don't think I've seen anyone craft amazon javelins (I tried a couple Safety ghost glaives with my throw barb but they were awful), I look forward to seeing it, as well as those Safety shields!

I don't think she will, but she'll make it to Hell pretty easily. If I can get to Hell LK, I may be able to get an Infinity, which would push her close to the end even without a CtA.

I forgot to mention in my Rules that charms are allowed.

A1 is really a snooze fest, so rather than give a lot of images from it. I'm going to explain my strategy.

First, there will be gem farming, but not until I get the cube.



Second, I ran Tower until I got up to level 18 and engaged easy mode.



Third, I bugged Andy quest so that I could re-run it ... for the gems.

These gems. Oh, also a Nagel dropped and was sold.





I ended up having to sell that Diamond Andy dropped to upgrade my merc. I'm going to need to start selling more things. Because I bought a new white belt and a sup chainmail. (It's still white.)



Normal Strategy

1) Get the cube
2) Farm gem shrines and Andy
3) Get some early game gear from gambling + crafting
4) Cruise to A5

I’ve been contemplating on posting a WT of my own which is craft only as well.

Very nice idea. Amazon is strong enough to survive with crafted gear.

I never ran normal/nm lk but if your looking for jewels and gems it might be the best locationnto get those?

why? I think it totally possible. I think Java is one of the chars that could even manage a no rerun hc/P8 wt. Good luck!
