After the sadness of my charge/foh hybrid dying in NM A1 on a fat finger mistake by me, I ended up remaking him and have been playing v2 through a bit further before posting. But I also had the idea for this build to give me something else to play in the meantime.
Basically, I'm gonna make a glass cannon zon and see how long I can survive HC P8, and let you guys guess some different outcomes for FG.
I've played her a bit, but not going to post a lot now to give people a chance to make guesses on the early prop bets before they get revealed
Rules:
- HC Players 8 except Countess reruns
- Quest respec allowed, but must remain bowazon throughout and adhere to vita rules
- Vanilla SP LOD, no extended stash, no ladder rune words
- Vitality limits: Zons start with 20. I am going to set a total limit of 100 hard vitality points for the game, broken down as:
-- 20 base
-- 30 additional in Norm
-- 25 additional in NM
-- 25 additional in Hell
Goals:
- Have fun!
- Survive as long as possible. Obviously beating hell baal would be the ultimate goal but I know that is extremely unlikely.
- Live long enough to find a sweet bow (e.g. Witchwild, GSA, or the bow starting with "W" that shall not be named)
Strats:
- Will start with magic arrow and decoy. On respec will start working towards GA and maxing valk.
- End-game build plan would be max valkyrie, high vs max decoy, max GA, high crit, + enough into penetrate, pierce, and multi
- Hope my valkyrie and my act 2 merc can tank enough for me that I don't get shattered, gonna be spamming decoy around every scary corner as the game goes on
- Obviously I'm going multi shot rather than strafe, as standing still with this build = death
Prop Bets
I know this forum is less obsessed with FG compared to pretty much any other, so this is mostly just for fun!
1) 100fg: Death or result. Write what Difficulty, Act, Area (include level), and Monster you think I will die to. You can write beat hell baal if you want but i mean... it's unlikely. Whoever is closest (or gets it correct) will get 100fg. I reserve the right to determine what is "closest" if 2 people are both off by the same amount of acts or areas. If I can't come up with a way to pick I'll split it between the 2.
2) 20fg: First unique item found - can be multiple winners, can choose same item as someone before)
3) 10fg: How many tries it takes to find correct normal Arcane Sanctuary path (pick 1st through 4th try) - 10fg (unlimited # of winners)
4) 50fg: First exceptional or elite unique found (so excludes jewelry) - 50fg. One winner - pick something different than people before you. If no one get's it right I'll pick someone close (e.g. similar item type) or I'll keep going until the first one I get that was picked.
5) 50fg: Name of my first Norm Act 2 merc (He's already been hired, and is defensive - though I don't believe that matters. Also this is a hint to not pick Norm A1 as the death/result).
6) 20fg: First unique bow found.
