Hi everyone,

After my return in d2 , a lot of hc ladder chars 85+ and no death (for the moment :)

I will try something i did not before, along with having fun with my regular chars, i want to take on uber tristram.

There is a lot of guides, a lot of opinions ( pala smiters; frenzy barbs, kicksin ?)

My question is :

In hc, without any hacks of any sort, what would be your best class choice ? Did you follow a guide better than others ?

This will work fine.

However id go: (brackets for budget gear)

Zaka um
Treachery to prebuff, then change to forti(/duress/smoke)
(Black rw in flail)
Draculs
Goblins
Dwarf instead wisp (personal preference)

Cap light res to +200 in hell and faded with scs, so that under conv you maintain 75 light res.

Really nice, it will be easier to reach, and less pain if i die. Black is really easy to make. Fortitude will be the most costy object, but i think its affordable with time. Would be really nice to make my own torches. Will have to watch a lot of youtube before trying this :p

Was wondering if Guardian angel was possible as budget ?

Sure. But watch stats of duress/smoke too. GA only gives max res, but if capped res with ga its awesome (defensively).

Yes the res part will be really difficult, especially with ga, i guess i will drop a lot of trade into res charms.
I will try it budget, and if i survive, i'll drop more investement into it, and it will be a good test. Smoke on the other hand cost nothing. Will see what i can reach in res. Did you make it already ? i mean real uber, not plugy with no monsters etc

Funnily enough I just pulled up my old jsp YouTube account to see my old lk run video.


But I also have this, it’s from a 2 ladders ago.

I was using stormlash because I found a zod and like the static, and was testing Fort as armor because I had a extra Lo rune sitting around.

Actual Uber’s starts at 6 mins if u want to skip minis.

If u do watch mini Uber’s once u get to 4 mins skip to 6(worst luck ever procing fade in this video? 2 fucking mins?)



Final notes on the video: I use a bo Barb Ofc. All the scs come from me saving them up from day 1 on mules. I pre tele mini Uber’s with my main character then bring smiter in.

I did a FUCK ton of Uber’s that season with that smiter(tweaked his wep/armor a few time but rest was the same) and he never came close to dying once.

Impressive, everything is well planned. For me this would be the uber luxe version :p not budget. I dont have double key so i'll try with a cta (prolly low one) and with lower rw and items, but with your stuff and execution it seems almost easy :p so there is room to make it with lower stuff i guess.
