I've been playing hardcore Bnet alot lately, and I've been browsing the PvM forum alot as well. I'm not sure what plugy is or this players 8 stuff, but perhaps someone could point me in the right direction.

I'd like to do a HC walk through, no mods maphacks, self found. Are you guys doing this on single player or what? Silly questions, especially since I've been playing d2 fornalmost 2 decades strictly BNET though.

/players 1-8 works on vanilla single player too.

And that is what is mostly found in this forum, single player walk throughs, typically hardcore. Some plugy, some not.

Plugy simply gives your single players characters an infinite shared stash, enables ladder runewords, and enables ubers and d clone. It also allows for infinite respecs with an added menu button and character screen buttons.

Yes singleplayer HC /p8 is way to go (plugy makes game 10x easier so only p****s use it)

Just create char you like and start. If you want ladder rws (txt file) watch sticky post

Hey! Happy to answer any question you have. Some people have different views on the game, so play how you want to play.

People play on player settings 8 to increase difficulty, xp, and drop rates/drops of monsters.

To begin, single player, select character, enter game and in game, type “/playersx” in Game chat with X being a number 1-8. You’ll see a massive increase.

Also a good reminder:
1. Play for yourself when making a WT
2. Making WT is a good motivation boost keep playing
3. Don't try too hard. We see people end up cheating just because...
4. When you finish or get to your goal legit it will feel really good! (baal kill/enigma etc)
5. Set rules before walk. Don't break them or if you want to make changes make it clear in wt (running suddenly p1-p3 is a good example of being lame)
6. /players 8 all time is a good rule and you will be rewarded and say to yourself ''dude i did it all solo and on p8! amazing! (Only exception rule people tend to use is to run countness on p1 for massively more runedrops)
7. Don't cheat yourself

So I was in the process of getting Plugy, and just could not get it to work properly. Uninstalled d2/plugy and deleted everything involved, and then reinstalled the game from blizzard's site. I had to re-add all the realms back into the list manually because it couldn't find any. I am unable to connect to battle.net, and I've been trying everything possible to do so for the past 3 hours. What on earth....
