I'm trying to make the #1 PvM sorc since all I care to do anymore is help people level and complete rushes for people. This is what I currently have and a few items will be changed or added shortly. Any suggestions on what you guys would personally swap out for the better?

I'd go for the 117 fcr bp and use crescent moon for the -35 ELR, it would do much more damage than the 200fcr version.

Something like this:

Helm: griffons facet
Armor: Enigma
Amulet: +2 +17% fcr
Weapon: crescent moon
Shield: spirit
Gloves: mages
Rings: 2x soj
Belt: arach
Boots: aldurs

Also, change fhr skillers for life skillers, fhr in pvm is useless. And please get rid of those treks!

did you just buy all your gear and not know sorcs? why do you need help with upgrades if that's not the case? clearly not ladder so showing off your e-peen is silly.
if you're sticking with 200/142 then that's fine except that's some gross jewelry. lots of wasted mods for a sorc.
142fhr is a waste tho tbh, esp in pvm. you could chuck your treks and get aldur for more hp and fr stack or tri res fhr boots, then chuck some of your 12fhr gcs for lifers. pvm you're fine with 86 fhr

Thanks for the replies. I don't really need the added life or res as I honestly almost never get hit. i am upgrading to upped magefists, just haven't purchased them yet. I prefer the higher fhr as the only time I ever get hit is teleporting. But I'll look over the items everybody suggested. And as for the question of why I needed help, there's always somebody who knows more. Always advice to learn from. Why pretend to know it all? And it's a video game, whether it's ladder or not, "showing off" is kind of just silly all around. I did it for gameplay advice on how to make my sorc better, not brag about gear.

Ok, if you wish to stay with the 200 fcr bp: change the ring for a real caster ring then. No need for life leech with casters.

Concerning fhr, you only get stunned if you lose 1/12 of your life in a single hit. Your sorc has really low life because you're using fhr skillers instead of lifers. Aldurs + life skillers would give you 200-300 more boable life making you need less fhr.

Thank you. I'm glad somebody explained how that works. I will swap out the boots and see how I like it. I already had plans to drop down to 86fhr and get lifers instead.

that's a gross oversimplification, but yeah, the more life you have the fewer stuns happen

I'll look over that guide, thank you. I've swapped out my Treks for Aldur's and I'll be purchasing 9x45 lifers soon as well.
