I have thought about this build as a grindy character, but the attacks per second has always turned me off. You're going to get < 1 attack per second because of how Leap Attack works and you're not going to get the damage boost to make it really worth it. With the skills above, without gear, you'll get 1073% ED.
That sounds impressive, but compare that to a fully maxed Sacrifice Paladin (not just because I'm playing one but because they are another specialized grindy build), which gets 1268% ED with fully synergized sacrifice and >2 attacks per second.
I just seen the nice ED and wanted to try it since i haven't seen a walk thru with it being the main skill.

is there a way to download a full copy of the amazon basin wiki for when it inevitably goes down?
anyway, leap attack works best when you simply exploit the fact you can make it hit without an animation as it says on the wiki, you can test it ingame and see for yourself;
When a target is not selected and the Barbarian does not leap over or land on sub-tiles directly adjacent to a target within melee range, then the attack animation may not be executed even though the attack is: this can reduce the attack interval to a minimum of 15 frames, the minimum length of the leaping animation. [8] However, achieving this with consecutive attacks to the same target can be difficult, even when it is not knocked back.
as long as you aim it correctly, which is very hard but you can get the hang of it, you can attack pretty fast even with a 0% ias war pike
its also much easier to do with longer attack range weapons, so getting range 5 is critical. Unlike whirlwind, you can attack at full weapon range
most range adder i can find is +4 on polearms and spears...
