Hi there, looking for some input here on my Smiter Pally for Ubers.

I had a problem before with dying sometimes to meph (im assuming his lightning attack) and am tired of relying on salvation etc for protection and would rather not worry about death/res at all and make a very powerful smiter. With this I've been working on making a last wish phase blade, just need to buy/find 2 more Jah's. Also made a temporary Kurast Exile (40 res) and replaced my Hoz with it. Also working on getting a high stat high res anni to help out as well. Swapped my archon plate enigma for mage plate enigma for less str pts, otherwise I don't really know what else to switch/wear.

Rest are all small res charms and 1 TP tome.


My question is, should I replace my Guill for a Kiara Tiara? Are there any BP's I need to aim for or is it more about worrying about RES? I know "best" is subjective, but I really want to get the "best" setup I can to avoid death, etc and make it go as fast as possible.

Any input is appreciated. I don't really know where to begin so figured I would post here for feedback, thanks.

and thats all, no need anything else. if u die so much to meph why not 1 point at salvation and on light/cold resists passive.

Am considering using Mara. Do Uber Smiters need to worry about any breakpoints or just about Res? Cause if so I will just use a mara instead of highlord.
Also considering swapping gore rider for goblin toe. I don't really want to go back to grief and would like to try Last Wish + Exile, hoping these 2 options help me a bit more.






I use enigma for ease in teleporting to minions instead of running and also escaping packs of mobs.

I also have some in salvation but I also put pts into lightning resist (not cold just all light)

Upgrade your Last wish to Grief. More straight damage means more leech (and faster killings means more safety).

Upgrade your shield to HoZ. That would boost all the important stats (life, resistance, damage).

Upgrade your rare ring to Dwarf star. Notice that life leech and mana leech don't work with smite.

Boots can also be Goblin toe (10% more crushing blow with no real drawback for a pure smiter).

Skillers are not very useful on a smiter. If you don't plan to use Salvation against Mephisto, and since Enigma provides no resistance, I suggest you switch some of them for extra resistance charms. Remember Mephisto takes away 125% cold/fire/light resistance.

The use of Kira (in my opinion) is never a good choice. It would work of course, but GFace with an appropriate setup is always better.

meph convi is -125res
so you want to have 300 total res so it becomes 300-125-100=75@

don't use lw, keep your hoz (upped umed)

Howcome you guys recommend not to use last wish? I have never used one before so I can't compare myself but I am still thinking of making one to try and compare. I also made an exile in a kurast shield and seems it would help with life tap. Howcome stick with hoz and grief? I was thinking exile + lw may give me better survivability along with 300+ res. Seems lightning is first to worry about then fire then cold so I'll go in that order

grief triples your dmg. This means:
- runs are shorter which is more efficient
- runs are shorter which reduces the chances of something going wrong
- 3times more dmg = 3times more health gained

exile gives at best 45res (40 in your case)
hoz gives 72
with hoz you also have more life and more dmg
defense is irrelevant

do you mean you die because lt doesn't proc ?

I think the few deaths were from not having high enough res. I swapped some skillers out for small res charms and looks like I can hit 300+ no prob especially once I buy an anni. With this said, I am wondering about using grief + exile since i wont need the res from hoz? Still kind of want to try last wish but like you said grief will do more damage. Still undecided on that front. But if LW + exile = safest (but slowest) I am okay with that. However if Grief + exile or grief + hoz is safer then I may go that route. I do want to go fast but I really ultimately never want to worry about death in ubers (which I figured multiple forms of life tap may help with)
