Intro:

Hello everybody! After rediscovering D2 a couple of months ago I got bored of the new ladder real soon. I just finished an unspectacular Javazon walkthrough in singlepalyer and I think now it's the time to somehow document my next wt. If nobody gives a shit about this, that's cool. At least, I will have fun recording some D2-playing. I will start posting screenshots as soon as I finished normal, so probably next week (I don't have that much time unfortunately).

Rules:

- Hardcore, P8 (except Countess re-runs).

- Pluggy for extended stash and anni/torch (usually I would say I am more traditional here and with my Javazon I played without Pluggy. But on the other hand - as most of us - I love collecting items, so i decided to give it a go with Pluggy in 1.13.

Build:

I will play an Assassin that uses Dragontalon and relies on traps as a second attack. Ultimately, this Assassin is to become a "Riftsin". Thus, I will need to acquire a "Rift" runeword (HelKoLemGul) asap. Before that, I will just attack with Dtalon and traps. In the beginning I will max Dtalon, DS, LS and maybe synergies. One point goes in Bos, Sm, Bladeshield and Mb. After I obtained "Rift" i will switch more to the kick-side. The advantages of this build are clear: safety & crowdcontroll (Cos and MB), flexiblity (no immunes basically), and most important it's pretty diverse and fun to play. The main disadvantage is also clear: Killspeed against mobs will suck until I have Rift and maybe some supporting items. Merc is gonna be Act 2 (might aura) as soon as I reach NM Act 2.

Equipment and ultimate Goals:

- Kill Ball hell.

- Get Anni and Torch.

- Endgame equipment I would very much like to have: Rift Warscepter / CTA+Spirit / Draculs / TG or SoE / upgr. Gores or Dancers / Raven / Nightwings / Infinity (not sure about the rest of the equipment yet).

- Other items I would probably put to good use: Gimmershed / Strenght (AmnTir), Voice of Reason (LemKoElEld) / Black (ThulIoNef) / CoA / Kiras / Gulli / Natalyas armor / Lionheart (HelLumFal) / Duress (ShaelUmThul) / Treachery /ShaelThulLem) / Stormshield / upgr. Mosars / Rhyme (ShaelEth) / IK belt / IK gloves / upgr. Goblintoes / Maras / Highlords / Metalgrid / Atmas. And obviously any kind of good rare and crafted items.

So, normal is in the books. Last Baalwave was a pain in the ass. Rest worked fine with Dtalon and some DS later. I switched to nightmare with level 49. At the moment i am running countess and andy for some basics.
