Hi,
how to improve survivability of A2 merc in Travincal?

right now my javazon's merc has this equipment:

andy face with 15ias/26fr jewel
infinity in tresher
fortitude

and he dies pretty quickly when surrounded with hydras

Ideas I have are:

CoA Vex Vex + Coh

andy + Guardian Angel Um

With fade being procd I think he might survive

Why would that make a difference? He has max fire res in both situations, except Fade would need to proc meaning he may be under max res on some occasions, as opposed to Fortitude.

You just need to play smart, keep moving, dodge the bolts and give a few potions to the merc. They don't do much damage with max res unless you let a whole bunch of them stack up.

They do even less damage vs players (17%).

Wear enigma and teleport + shift potion to heal

you have to tank hydras nothing else really matters

I had 75@, tried with CoA vex vex - 85 fire res, still dying, I will buy guardian angel and try with 95 fire res

CBF on merc is important, the council members have cold attacks and when merc is that slowed, he leeches more slow/dies more easy. I always cham merc helms.

Tal Mask cham/Vampire Gaze cham // Treachery // Infy tresher is best combo for survive travincal/third baal wave hydras etc, imo.

try eth crown of thieves cham, eth fort, eth infinity.

also you need a CTA and act 2 nm offense for the might aura. Your tele and quick kill zon should be able to handle this just fine. Since your a zon, you should be doing most of the killing anyways
