D2 is deep, and you'll find layers of it in this community.

It's still a game with great dynamics, and you can still find an item that is the equivalent of winning the gaming world lottery.

I still don't understand why the idiots at blizzard simply don't just do a full "restoration" (1920x1080 etc etc) of this game and stick a 39.99 tag on it. Would pay off in no time.

If you're strictly talking about pvm on bnet, then it can be a bit sparse, but you can find someone to hack and slash with...

The good thing is that given the games age, the ratio of 12 year old aholes to people actually dedicated to the game is somewhat favorable.

u can always play pvm hc single player. otherwise try hc bnet, but only fun when ladder resets...

pvp is the same.. full of hacks/bugs/bms.. etc etc

I've often wondered this myself. I heard that "reskinning" could actually take longer than remaking the game from scratch.
But squareexnix said they wouldn't do final fantasy 7 as it would take a decade or whatever but it's coming out pretty soon. So who knows.

If they could crank up the graphics on this game there's no telling how much I'd pay to play it lol.
I fear the "new age" of gaming ruining that opportunity though. They'd inevitably tweak things so that we had to pay to win and or ruin the game dynamics alla d3.

hc east and hc europe are relatively active even after resets. I found two groups to play with in euro. I think europe is slightly better than east. Also, I don't like it, but do some research on slash diablo.

Actually, East is way more popular, if you want people to play with.
